I like the surprise ending ''Oh look my tow bar's knackered''.
Eejuts.
bluddie green ovals ..... says it all :augie
Land Rovers are like women:
They leak when you don't want them to, moan on long journey's, embarrass you in front of friends and peers, and consume more money than you ever expected once you've commit yourself to one.
i don't think any 4x4 would get out of that muck, and what a bunch of prats, i don't know a lot about recovery but that sort of behaviour is beyond me, i did see once a defender pulling a car from a ditch, and the shackle came off the cars tow ball and went through the rear window and stopped at the dog guard, luckily for the driver. :doh

when you see it finaly free fomr the mud, and look at all the kit they had at their disposal. It shoudl have beenn a lot easier/safer than it was, what do you think?
they should have had two cars pull that out not 1 twat in a disco trying to yank it out they had alot of equipment their that they should have used but why would any one try and drive through that mud in the first place lol

i thought i kept seeing lynn scooting around in her white vitara in the back ground, but then again if lynn was there Adz sure would be as well and i know he would have been knee deep helping out in that muck.
can anyone please tell me why i kept ducking?:lol

lmao :lol:lol:lol:lol
sure, they could have tackled it differently but tbh im sure if we were all honest we've taken similar if not greater risks.
we (not me driving :augie) managed to bury a nice new lwb defender 110 as deep as that back in 1989 and it was hell getting it out :lol:lol:lol:lol:lol
looked like a good day out to me :thumbs
spot the mistakes. Theres alot.
As plank said I also don't know much about towing & recovery but alot of the mistakes they were doing are common sense.

As said above no 4x4 was coming out of that gooo?:doh
However using a winch line without a blanket or similar on it is criminal:eek:
Also once in that sort of stuff stop trying to drive out of it straight away, you'll just bog in.
I remember not so long ago getting in a similar pickle :lol

maybe pointless, but he only has one nut holding his spare wheel on! does this evidence his general attitude towards his vehicle?

i wonder if he was gonna drive this home afterwards?
its nobs like that, that give decent green laners a bad name
Two vehicles for sure,v formation. Straight front wheels in the mud.Keep constant strain with the winch and pull steady and strong with other vehicle.Maybe I am wrong but it would have been a lot safer.

Made my blood run cold. I use vehicles and winches a lot to do assisted fells and I was nearly shouting at the screen. Very nearly a prime example of Darwinism in action :banghead  :banghead
